“ A very well kept Manotick secret. The extensive cue of pickup orders shows that for those who are in the know this little jewel is well used. Most of the clientele seem to use takeout despite a large comfortable and well decorated dining room. Washrooms were very clean and well appointed. I look forward to exploring more of the menu to make a meaningful comparison. But Wow! ”

The restaurant is very cute and although we didn’t eat in, it gives a really authentic vibe which I loved. The woman who cashed us out, was kind and ensured we had everything we needed. “ The food is really quite good. I was searching for an authentic Chinese restaurant and I am so glad I decided to stop by. I was pleasantly surprised. The portion sizes are honestly great. The takeaway containers are filled to the brim with food. The food is delicious. I highly recommend trying the Yang Chow fried rice, Lemon Chicken and the Chicken+Shrimp with mixed vegetables. The Yang Chow fried rice and Lemon Chicken is the best I’ve tried for these dishes. Even better than Sea King’s on Merivale. The service is very friendly and the dining atmosphere of the restaurant itself is very welcoming, cozy and enjoyable. I highly recommend giving Pearl House a try. The photos posted with this review are after 2 adults had eaten, and the containers are still nearly full. Will be my new go to and favourite. ”
